Editorial & Listing Policy

How we review listings, handle updates, and maintain helpful directory content (E-E-A-T).

Why this policy exists

Google expects helpful, reliable, people-first content. This page explains how MFG USA creates and maintains directory pages so users (and search engines) can understand our standards.

Content standards

  • Company pages should include a clear business name, location, and useful description.
  • We prefer unique descriptions over thin or duplicated copy.
  • Category and state pages summarize real listings available in that group.
  • We avoid deceptive claims, fake reviews, and keyword stuffing.

Review process

  1. Submission received (public form or CSV import).
  2. Duplicate checks run against name, website, phone, and email.
  3. Admin review for relevance to US manufacturing.
  4. Publish, request edits, or reject.

Ratings

Any on-site rating shown on a profile is an editorial/directory field supplied with the listing data. It is not a guaranteed third-party review aggregate. We do not fabricate review counts.

Corrections & removal

Authorized representatives may request updates or removals through the Contact page. We aim to review legitimate requests promptly.
