About the company
Smurfit Westrock’s St. Cloud Container Plant is a U.S. corrugated packaging manufacturing facility in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The plant produces corrugated boxes and custom corrugated packaging for regional customers, providing protective packaging solutions for manufacturers, distributors, retailers, food companies, and other businesses. Smurfit Westrock identifies the St. Cloud location as a dedicated container plant and states that it manufactures corrugated boxes and corrugated packaging at the facility. Its production process converts paper-based materials into engineered corrugated structures that can be designed for different dimensions, load requirements, shipping conditions, and branding needs. The plant is part of Smurfit Westrock’s extensive North American packaging manufacturing network, which includes container plants, sheet plants, paper mills, recycling operations, and specialty packaging facilities. Its local production model allows customers to source custom cardboard packaging close to their distribution and manufacturing operations. The St. Cloud facility is therefore a direct packaging manufacturing site rather than a sales office or logistics-only operation.
