About the company
Volta is a Houston, Texas manufacturer of integrated electrical equipment and electrical equipment centers for industrial, energy, and infrastructure applications. The company operates a large U.S. manufacturing facility designed specifically for the fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing of electrical equipment systems. Its products include low- and medium-voltage motor control centers, metal-enclosed and metal-clad switchgear, bus duct and cable bus systems, electrical equipment centers, and related power-distribution equipment. Volta describes a vertically integrated manufacturing process in which structural skids are fabricated and welded, sheet-metal components are produced and powder coated, electrical assemblies are installed, and complete electrical equipment centers are assembled and factory tested under one roof. The facility includes dedicated skid fabrication, electrical assembly, sheet-metal and powder-coating areas, and large equipment-center assembly spaces. Volta serves industrial and energy customers requiring engineered electrical distribution and control equipment. Its Houston operation is a direct fit for electrical equipment manufacturing because it manufactures and tests complete systems domestically.
